Taking to the Air

While staying at Stoneleigh Lodge, Ohoka, Christchurch B&B New Zealand, there are a number of ways to take to the air! The options are many and varied.

Hot air ballooning One way to take in the scenery of the beautiful Canterbury plains, while staying our luxury bed & breakfast in Christchurch is to take to the air in a hot air balloon! These trips take off in the early morning just a short trip away in Christchurch. Weather permitting you can get a great view of Stoneleigh Lodge from overhead!

Sky diving For the more adventurous there is sky diving. With 2-3 hours training you can do an awesome tandem sky dive. The exact details may vary, but generally you get a 10-20 minuter flight up to altitude, then the JUMP!

Paragliding Tandem paragliding allows you to have an experience of a lifetime. Almost any one can do a tandem paraglide.

Powered gliding Tandem powered gliding is another option. With this you can climb to greater heights and take in the breath taking scenery. You can stay up longer and travel over greater distances.
